Aberdeen is a beautiful and fascinating place which some know as ‘The Granite City’ due to its export of granite which was used to build London’s Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square. It’s also home to the invention of the football dugout created at Pittodrie Stadium featured in this print in 1923.

Featured alongside the football stadium is Dunnottar Castle which served as a hiding place for Scotland’s crown jewels from Oliver Cromwell’s army in the 17th Century.

In celebration of Liverpool, we have the Royal Liver building, steeped in maritime history and with the famous mythical Liver birds perched on top which are said to protect sailors at sea. Under the gaze of the birds we can see the Mersey Ferry which will take you across the river.
