Maritime heritage, seafaring tales and golden beaches. Arklow is where Viking ships once sailed into Irish history. This print features the magnificent Church of St Mary and St Peter, whose distinctive twin spires have watched over the town since 1859. The Gothic towers, built from local Wicklow granite, stand as proud today as when they were first raised - though few know that the church's original foundation stone was laid on the feast day of St. Peter's Chains. Spanning the Avoca River, the iconic 19 Arches Bridge stretches its impressive length across the water, making it the longest bridge of its kind in Ireland. Built in 1755, its graceful stone arches have weathered centuries of storms and seen countless fishing boats pass beneath, heading out to seas that once brought Viking longships to these very shores.
Perth's dynamic skyline emerges along the tranquil Swan River, where the sophisticated silhouettes of Central Park and 108 St Georges Terrace pierce the Western Australian sky. The gleaming glass towers of Brookfield Place add their contemporary elegance to this urban panorama. This artwork masterfully captures the dialogue between Sharjah's timeless charm and Perth's modern prosperity, creating a visual story that bridges traditional Middle Eastern architecture with contemporary Australian urban design.
